Norma Ellen Stalcup Long, 96, Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 at Cumberland Valley Manor in Burkesville. She was the wife of the late Buford Grant Long and was also preceded in death by a son, David M. Long, three brothers and three sisters. She was a member of Marrowbone Church of Christ.

She is survived by a son, William Harold (Angie) Long, Madisonville, KY; a daughter-in-law, Libby Long Burris; a brother, Lyle (Eloise) Stalcup, both of Burkesville, KY; four sisters, Ruth Graves and Dimple Sharp, both of Burkesville, KY; Nina (Russell) McIver, Albany; Betty Wisdom, Louisville, KY; five grandchildren, Candice Staton, Emily Cope, Katie, Kellie and Mackenzie Long; also four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Sammy Dick officiating. Final resting place in Stalcup Cemetery. Arrangements made through Norris-New Funeral Home of Burkesville, Kentucky. Online condolences may be made at www.norris-new.com.
