Clinton County Fiscal Court held a short special meeting Tuesday morning with just enough members–three–to constitute a quorum to conduct business.
The only item of business on the agenda was fund transfers. Magistrates voted to approve two transfers, one to the ambulance service in the amount of $80,000 and another of $151,000 from the general fund to another line item account.
The court’s regular meeting that was scheduled for this coming Thursday evening has been cancelled. A special call meeting with several items of business, will be held next Thursday, August 22 at 8:30 a.m. in the judge/executive’s office. The meeting is open to the general public.
