July 31, 2013 – Janice Cooksey was promoted to Chief Operating Officer at a recent meeting of the First & Farmers National Bank Board of Directors.
Janice joined First & Farmers National Bank in 1978. She held the position of Vice President/Manager of the Albany downtown office before her promotion. During her 35 years of employment she has served in all departments within the bank, as well as having a role in all mergers and acquisitions. Janice and her husband, Michael, currently reside in Albany, Kentucky with their two sons Ross and Nick Cooksey.
Janice is a Clinton County resident, graduating from Clinton County High School in 1977. Her bank training includes; Community Bankers of Kentucky Branch Managers Training series, Residential Real Estate Lending class, and attended the Kentucky Bank Management Institute’s Loan Officers School and Management School.
Regarding her promotion, Janice states, “I am extremely honored to be appointed the Chief Operating Officer of First & Farmers National Bank. This bank is a second home to me, and it is truly a privilege getting to work with individuals that have become a part of my family. I am looking forward to this opportunity and working with our staff, as we assure that we continue to provide exceptional banking products to our customers.”
