Although most of the rest of the day Saturday was a rainy loss as far as outdoor activitiy goes, the morning period around the 8:00 a.m. start of the Fifth Annual Healthy Hometown Run for the Roses was a perfect setting for a run. Cloudy and cool when the starting siren sounded, some 58 participants were on the starting line for the race. All proceeds from the event benefit the Mountain View Rec Park.
