Stanley Eugene “Bud” Marcum, 72, of Albany, Kentucky, formerly of Wayne County, Kentucky, passed away Friday, May 1, 2026, at The Medical Center of Albany, Kentucky.
He was born in New Castle, Indiana, the son of Joe Stanley and Ruby Owens Marcum.
He attended the Red Hill Church of Christ and was a school bus driver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Sue Shelton; brothers-in-law, David Shelton, and Klemon Owens; sister-in-law, Murlene Parrigan; father and mother-in-law, Harold and Bonnie Mason; niece, Kimberly Means; nephew, Micheal Parrigan.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris Mason Marcum; son, Shawn Marcum (Natahsa Gray) of Albany, Kentucky; siblings, Faye (Russell) Means, Geraldine “Gerry” Shelton, both of Alpha, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Arlene Owens; brother-in-law, Robert Shelton, both of Albany, Kentucky; uncle, Leonard Owens of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
The funeral service was  conducted Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Ridgeway officiating.
Burial followed in Memorial Hill Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky.
