Construction on the new U.S. 127 on the southern most end has been hampered somewhat this spring and early summer by wet weather, keeping earth moving crews off of the job much of the time, but when weather permits, work continues at a frenzied pace. This photo was made Tuesday morning near the Kentucky – Tennessee line, just east of Shelley’s Aluminum, where crews are working to build up the area for the construction of a new exchange from TN 111 onto U.S. 127.
