Dawgs move on to semi-finals

The Clinton County Bulldogs took its 28-2 record into Diddle Arena Monday night to take on the Logan County Cougars.
This is Clinton County’s first trip to the regional tournament in three years.
The Dawgs started off on the slow side, allowing Logan County to reach a six point lead with 3:27 remaining in the first quarter, 15-9.
From that point, Clinton County’s Nick Poore and Jaxon Mason each dropped in three-pointers to tie the score at 15.
Logan County would put up two free throws, but a three pointer by Will Beaty gave the Dawgs its first lead of the game at 18-17. Drew Davis rounded out scoring in the first quarter with a basket in the paint, 20-17.
The Dawgs continued to score in the second quarter, but so did Logan County as the Cougars remained in the game.

    The Bulldogs got off to a slightly slow start Monday night in the 4th Region Basketball Tournament in Diddle Arena against a hard fighting Logan County squad, but by halftime, were putting their game together.

    Volley Dawgs win 8th grade tourney

    The Clinton County Middle School 8th grade volleyball team won the 2025 March Mania Tournament held at Clinton County this past weekend. The team lost only one set in five games all day.

    Bulldog Nick Poore was recognized in front of a home crowd Friday night prior to Clinton County’s victory over Glasgow.

    Dawgs continue to add wins

    The Clinton County Bulldogs moved to 24-1 on the year after picking up three wins this past week against Wayne County, Glasgow and Trinity Whitesville.

    Lady Dawgs pick up two Ws

    The Clinton County Lady Bulldogs moved to 2-1 on the week with a loss against Wayne County on Tuesday night, followed by back-to-back wins on Friday and Saturday against Glasgow and Apollo, respectively.

    Lady Dawgs bow out of All ‘A’ early

    The Clinton County Lady Dawgs moved to 7-8 on the year with a loss, 54-34, in the semi-finals round of the 4th Region All “A” Classic tournament held at Todd County last Wednesday.

    Our Bulldogs got past a somewhat slow start Sunday afternoon and ran out in their normal fashion to cabbage on the 4th Region All “A” Classic Championship title, defeating Monroe County 62-47.

    Dawgs win holiday classic, 13-0

    The Clinton County Bulldogs remain perfect through the holiday season by winning the Smoky Mountain Classic in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, this past weekend.
    Clinton County went 3-0 in the tournament to move to 13-0 on the year.
