James Britt, Jr., age 87, Albany, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Clinton County Hospital. He was a member of Pikeview Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II and was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Britt and a daughter, Janette Cook.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James “Jim” and Louise Britt, Albany; a son-in-law, Wayne Cook, Lawrenceburg, KY; five grandchildren, Todd (Vickie) Cook, Sally (Kevin) Riley, Nicole Fulton, Nathan (Jessica) and Adam Britt; also three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 19, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Sullivan and Bro. Jeff Brown officiating. Final resting place in Albany Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
