Virginia Threse (Riddle) Groce, 84, Byrdstown, Tennessee and formerly of Albany, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Pickett County Care and Rehabilitation in Byrdstown. She was the daughter of the late William Marion and Haley Florence Albertson Riddle, wife of the late Glen E. Groce and was also preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by a daughter, Sue Ann (Junior) Albertson, Albany; a son, Terry Ray (Tavi) Groce, Byrdstown, TN; a brother, John L. Riddle, Albany; six grandchildren, Tim (Lisa) and Jeff Albertson; Tina (Lester) Gibson, Trent (Kaitlyn), Trevor and Tanarae Groce; and three great-grandchildren, Tyler and Guner Albertson and Lexis Gibson.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Donald McGill officiating. Final resting place in Memorial Hill Cemetery. Arrangements made through Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany. Online condolences may be made at www.campbell-new.com.
