A production team with 12 Forward Entertainment, a Dallas, Texas television filming company, along with three two-person teams unloaded at various spots in Albany last Friday during the U.S. 127 Sale to begin filming for the Home and Garden TV show Endless Yard Sale.

“We’re starting in Albany and going to Dunlap (Tennessee) this year, a producer with the film team told the Clinton County News last Friday morning.

The show, which has featured portions of the 127 Sale for the past several years, will likely aire on HGTV on September 29, with a time to be announced later.

The premise of the show deals with three, two-person teams of shoppers who are given an allowance of funds and charged with not only finding the best deals for their money, but with collecting the strangest finds as well.

When the teams finish shopping, the crew will bring in an appraiser to sort out the pickings selected by each team to determine the winner.

In the top photo, the crew films one team of two young men who were shopping in the Snow Community group of vendors.

At right, these two uniquely dressed girls, one of the other two teams, were drawing a considerable amount of attention as they made their way through the vendors Friday morning.
