Emma Jewell Chaffin, 84, Estill Rd., Albany, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Clinton County Hospital. She was the wife of the late Louie Chaffin and daughter of the late Jess and Willie Ann McWhorter. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Georgia Roland and Ann Grace McWhorter, and two brothers, Arthur J. and Mack McWhorter.

She is survived by two brothers, Curt McWhorter, Albany; Bill McWhorter, CA; a sister, Coza Crabtree, Dallas, Texas.

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Sawyer officiating. Final resting place in Fountain Run Cemetery in Fountain Run, Kentucky. Arrangements made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
