Danny Hugh Holsapple, 65, North Charleston, South Carolina and a native of Clinton County, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at his residence. He was the son of the late Benny Holsapple and Ruth (Amonett) Holsapple Baumand was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara VanBarriger. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict where he served in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne. He retired from the Charleston Navy Ship Yard after serving for 27 years, received three Purple Hearts and was a Senior Project Manager at Chembion Environmental.

He is survived by a daughter, France Branson, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a son, Antoine “Tony” Holsapple, North Charleston, S.C.; a sister, Faye Dempsey, Monroe, TN; two brothers, Welby Holsapple, Landson, S.C.; Darwin Holsapple, Albany; three grandchildren, Ashton Harvey, Gabrielle Branson and Abigail Holsapple; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Brown Funeral Chapel with Pat Sheets officiating. Final resting place in Locust Grove Cemetery. Arrangements made through Brown Funeral of Byrdstown, Tennessee.
