One sure “sign” every year that summer is on its way out, is the changing of the banners in Albany, from the red, white and blue “Albany” versions, to the fall banners that remind local residents, and invite visitors to the October Foothills Festival.

That change occurred this week when Rick Tallent with Tallent Enterprises began hanging the fall banners along Cross Street early Monday morning.
