Elsie Monzell Lowhorn, 90, New Castle, Indiana, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013. She was a native of Albany, daughter of the late Virgil and Eunice (Pierce) Shelley, wife of the late Raymond Lowhorn and a member of South Memorial Drive Church of God. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Ron Wiley.

She is survived by a son, Gerald (Karen) Lowhorn, Lapel, IN; a sister, Sue (Joe) Tilley, Anderson, IN; three grandchildren, Brian Lowhorn, Anderson, IN; Melissa Bremer, North Salem, IN; Larry Wiley, Cookeville, TN; also several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service. Final resting place in South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Arrangements made through Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service of New Castle, Indiana.
