It was a typical fall weekend in Albany, sunny and warm one day, cloudy, cool and wet the next, but the changing weather didn’t stop Foothills Festival fans from coming out anyway. Above, as is always the case, the seating area in Cumberland Street was packed for Saturday’s Foothills Lip Sync, which once again brought a wide variety of entertaing acts to the stage. Among those acts was the winning rendition in the 17 and over division shown at bottom right, with Misty and Pegan Madison portraying the Cletus T. Judd parody, My Cellmate Thinks I’m Sexy. Below left, one of the most talented groups to take the stage in recent Foothills history, Borrowed Blue, kept a large crowd toe tapping and clapping on Friday night. Fireworks displays closed out the Foothills on both nights this past weekend. Inside this week’s Clinton County News, once again we are pleased to bring our readers our largest collection of photographs of the year, as we take a look back at the happenings last week during the Foothills Festival fall celebration. The Clinton County News would also like to congratulate our Foothills Festival Planning Committee on another – “Job Well Done!”
