Long-time salon owner, Linda Sawyers Ray, 57, of Albany, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 at her residence.

She is survived by her parents, Bobby and Barbara (Garner) Sawyers; her children, Clint Sawyers Ray and Lindsey Ray (Seth) Stonecipher; a sister, Brenda (Delmer) Vitatoe; and a nephew, Stuart Vitatoe, all of Albany.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Albany United Nazarene Church with Pastors David Dorn, Charles Tone and Bro. Nick Armstrong officiating. Final resting place in Memorial Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Hope Lodge or Albany United Nazarene Church. Arrangements made through Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany.
