Kathleen Gibson, 65, Gibson Rd., Albany, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Esco and Maggie Owens Duvall and was also preceded in death by a brother, Frankie Duvall.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Gibson; a son, Jeffery Lynn (Kim) Gibson; five brothers, Johnny (Susie), Jack (Glomia), Donnie (Mary), Roger (Brenda), and Ricky (Vickie) and Duvall; four sisters, Sue (Dean) Edwards, Marchelene (Roger) Guinn, Virginia (Michael) Jolly and Peggy (Donnie) Stinson; sister-in-law, Lois Duvall and one grandson, Brett Gibson, all of Albany.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 25, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home with Bro. Clay Chaplin and Bro. Jack Duvall officiating. Final resting place in Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
