Owen Leslie Franklin, 59, Hazard, Kentucky and formerly of Burkesville, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center.

He is survived by a brother, Marcus Franklin; a sister, Josie Moons, both of Burkesville; also several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Final resting place in White Hill Cemetery. Arrangements made through Norris-New Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the Owen Franklin Memorial Fund.
