The application deadline for the Touchstone Energy All “A” Classic Scholarships is December 1, 2013, and if the success of the past programs is any indication, the 2013-2014 program looks to have an even more positive impact.
Touchstone Energy All “A” Scholarship applications are now available online at www.allaclassic.org. Applications can also be found in most All “A” school guidance counselors’ offices.

Every year, South Kentucky RECC and other members of Kentucky’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives help sponsor the All “A” Classic, a program that provides students from Kentucky’s small high schools with a showcase for competitions in the arts, academics, cheerleading, and basketball to name a few.
At least 50 seniors will receive Touchstone Energy All “A” Classic scholarships to attend post-secondary schools in the fall of 2014.
Students, to be eligible, must also plan to attend a post-secondary school in Kentucky, including colleges, universities, community colleges, and vocational or technical schools.
The one-time $1,000 scholarships are based first on need, followed by grade point average, and college entrance exam scores.
For the 2012/2013 program, receiving $1,000 scholarships from Clinton County were Leah Faith Claborn, daughter of Michael and Pina Claborn, Albany; and Rachel Stearns, Clinton County High School, daughter of Terry Stearns and Patricia Stearns, Albany.
