The View From Our Youth
A PhotoVoice assignment of the freshman students in Ms. Tyonia Sinclair’s C.C.H.S. health class that
offers some insight into what the younger members of
our Clinton County population view as health and
unhealthy surroundings – and what can be done to
promote more of the good, and less of the bad.
I took these pictures to show a healthy pic that we grow our own calves and fatten them. One thing I consider healthy about this is that when we fatten a calf we do not use any byproduct and after it has been killed we know what we are eating. I like to know what I’m eating! Kayla Shelton
These images are unhealthy. There pictures were taken at Dale Hollow Lake State Park, the picnic area. This is unsafe for small children and wild animals who would mistake them for food, which could kill them. To solve this problem we could organize a group to go to Dale Hollow State Park and pick up the trash, then buy trash cans so the people after that will put them in the trash and not on the ground.
