While the elves are busy at the North Pole, Santa Claus is preparing to make his annual trip around the world in just five short weeks, delivering presents to all the good little boys and girls–including those here in Albany and Clinton County.

As tradition holds, the Clinton County News is again making it possible for all children to make their wishes known to Old St. Nick himself by writing your letters to Santa, bringing them or sending them to the News office to be forwarded to the North Pole prior to Christmas Eve night.

Due to printing and publishing deadlines that must be met, the deadline for all Letters to Santa to be received at the Clinton County News is Monday, December 9 at 4 p.m.

Further, again due to deadlines to assure all letters are in our special Christmas editions, all school classes and/or other “group” type letters are asked to be turned in the week of December 2-6 if at all possible.

All Santa letters should be legible and individual letters should have a name and phone number attached in case there are questions about the content of the letters, i.e., spelling, etc.

Santa letters can either be faxed, emailed or hand delivered to the Clinton County News by the aforementioned deadline. Any letter(s) received after 4 p.m. on December 9 cannot be assured of being published on time for the Christmas edition.

All letters, individuals, groups and school classes are welcomed. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas from everyone at the Clinton County News.
