Guy Decker, Sr., 92, Monticello, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Wayne County Hospital. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth V. Decker and a son, George L. Decker. He was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean Conflict, and was a Bronze Star recipient.

He is survived by his wife, Bessie Stockton, Monticello, KY; two daughters, Margaret W. Dale, Miami, FL; Anna Ruth (Mintford) Kennedy, Albany; a son, Guy Decker, Jr., San Francisco, CA; a step-son, Doug (Donna) Stockton, Monticello, KY; eight grandchildren, including Deborah Gibson of Albany; also 12 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and special friends Roy and Charlene Edwards, Ruth Guffey and Shirley Dobbs.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 29, 2013 at 1 p.m. Eastern Time at Hicks and Vaughn Funeral Home in Monticello, Ky. with visitation after 11 a.m. Final resting place in Elk Springs Cemetery. Arrangements made through Hicks and Vaughn Funeral Home.
