January stocker program
The Lake Cumberland Area Extension offices will host the Kentucky Master Stocker Program beginning in January.
The program is designed for producers that are back grounding feeder calves or producers interested in starting a stocker operation. Cow/calf producers should not overlook this program either; the topics covered in this program can be of benefit to your operation as well.
There will be eight, two and one-half hour sessions covering topics related to stocker operations.
Our plan is to have two meetings in each of the following counties, Clinton, Cumberland, Russell, and Wayne, specific locations are yet to be determined.
There will be a registration fee to cover materials and meals. Space is limited to 35 participants so please call the Clinton County Extension Office to reserve your spot.
