During the month of November 2013, there were 29 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington.

There were six fatal collisions during the month of November in the Post 15 area.

Kimbler, Robert G. Jr., age 56 of Columbia, KY was killed on 11/14/13 in Green Co., KY.

Mattingly, Joseph Daniel, age 60 of Loretto, KY was killed on 11/11/13 in Marion Co., KY.

Kirtley, Charles D., age 40 of Campbellsville, KY was killed on 11/22/13 in Casey Co., KY.

McElroy, Johnnie M., age 54 of Glasgow, KY was killed on 11/30/13 in Green Co., KY.

Scott, Benny H., age 67 of Hardyville KY was killed on 11/30/13 in Green Co., KY.

This brings our yearly fatality count to 21 compared with 34 through this same period in 2012.

Statewide fatality count stands at 584 compared with 681 through this same period in 2012.

During the month of November 2013, there were 1066 citations written, 247 courtesy notices written, 1412 vehicles inspected, 644 complaints answered, 64 motorists assisted, 49 criminal cases opened and 175 criminal arrests made.
