Doris Sidwell Vineyard, 80, Lexington, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 6, 2013. She was a native of Albany, daughter of the late O.D. and Vertie Sidwell and was a member of Southern Hills United Methodist Church. A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, she was a retired teacher.

She is survived by her husband, Chalmer “Chuck” E. Vineyard; two daughters, Dee Dee (Dan) Cantrell, Lewisville, N.C.; Mitzi (Clark) Shepherd, Lexington, KY; a sister, Mary Dot Gritton, Harrodsburg, KY; a brother, Dallas (Laura Alice) Sidwell, Albany; also three grandchildren, Allie and Danielle Cantrell and Austin Shepherd.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 9, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Milward-Southland Funeral Home with final resting place in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass. Online condolences may be made at www.milwardfuneral.com.
