Bennie K. Amonett, 66, N. Hwy. 127, Albany, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Clinton County Hospital. He was a Vietnam veteran, a member of Westview Christian Church where he was a deacon for 25 years and was preceded in death by his father, Roy E. Amonett.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Amonett; his mother, Irene Amonett York; a daughter, Zada Groce; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Randall and Letha Amonett and Jack and Phyllis Amonett; a granddaughter, Bethany Jo Groce, all of Albany; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Martin officiating. Final resting place in Memorial Hill Cemetery. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
