The distribution of toys to local needy children in the Christmas At Home program received a nice boost last week from the group of houseboat owners on Dale Hollow Lake known as the Dale Hollow Yacht Club.

The group collects new toy donations as well as holding fundraising efforts within its membership, to provide new toys to the local Christmas At Home.

The tradition started several years ago when the houseboat owners were looking for a way to give back to the community that so many of them call their “home on the lake” when they decided to benefit the Christmas At Home program with their efforts.
