Amanda Marie Howard of Jamestown, TN received a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Nashville School of Law, December 7th 2013, at ceremonies held at the Nashville Convention center in downtown Nashville.

She is the wife of Jeremy Howard, also of Jamestown, TN and the daughter of Ruble and Vickie Upchurch of Pall Mall, TN.

She is the granddaughter of the late Oscar Ruble Upchurch, Sr. and Janie Dyer Upchurch of Pall Mall, TN and George and Marie Lee of Byrdstown, TN, and the late Larry Guffey of Albany, Ky. She is the great-granddaughter of Reba Jones and the late Oliver Jones of Albany, Ky.

Amanda is a 2005 graduate of Alvin C. York Agricultural Institute and earned her undergraduate degree from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN in May 2009.

Amanda successfully passed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam and will be preparing to take the next portions of the bar exam to become a licensed attorney. While she is awaiting the results of the bar exam she will continue to work for the Law Office of Romer and Lane, PLLC in Jamestown, TN.
