On May 2, 2013, Brandy Melton and D.J. Carter were united in marriage in Lawton, Oklahoma. Brandy is the daughter of Laura and Randy Melton of Albany. D.J. is the son of Sonya and Donnie Carter of Burkesville, Ky. They would like to invite their friends and family to join them in a formal wedding ceremony at Burkesville Baptist Church. This event will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2013. There will be a reception following at Cave Springs Baptist Church in Albany. The couple are residing in Lawton, Oklahoma where D.J. is serving in the military.
