School board holds short call meeting

Clinton County Board of Education held what turned out to be a shorter special meeting than originally anticipated last Friday afternoon, December 20 with all board members present.

There had originally been two items of business on the meeting agenda, including a closed session on pending or possible litigation. However, that item was not necessary and no executive session was held.

That left only one item of business to be acted on.

On a motion by Jeff Sams, the board voted to approve the District Facilities Plan Hearing Report. That hearing had taken place the previous day and will now be forwarded to the Kentucky Department of Education for final approval.

Following the vote on the facilities report, the brief meeting was adjourned.

The next regular meeting of the school board is scheduled for Monday, January 13 at 5 p.m. at the Central Office board room and is open to the general public.
