Charlie Wilson, 89, George Sloan Rd., Albany, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Emogene Wilson and was also preceded in death by a son, Ralph Glenson Wilson, three brothers, Jimmie, Lige and Vester Wilson, and four sisters, Mary Hensley, Ros Moles, Dillie Garrett and Luley Garrett.

He is survived by two daughters, Rema (Alvin) Riddle and Dillie Wilson, both of Albany; six grandchildren, Brenda P. Vick, Elsie P. (Steve) Smith, Eddie and Tony (Dian) Bruner, Sandra C. (Eugene) Braswell and Joseph (Donna) Portman; also 24 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, January 3, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Rexroat and Bro. Jackie Gibbons officiating. Final resting place in Clarkrange Cemetery in Pickett County, Tennessee. Arrangements made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
