Fiscal Court regular meeting

Clinton County Fiscal Court is scheduled to hold its regular monthly meeting Thursday, February 20 at 5 p.m. at the courthouse. The meeting is open to the general public.

Are you in need of free health care?

A representative from Kynect will be at the Clinton County Hospital Tuesday, February 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the old hospital front lobby. Please come by and speak to them to see if you qualify for free health insurance. Call 606-305-2704 with any questions.

Healthy Heart Checkup

February is American Heart Month and Dyer Drug will have a “Healthy Heart Checkup” event on Friday, February 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., providing blood pressure checks and useful tips for improving your heart health. Please drop by and bring a friend. There will be a special Valentine’s Day gift (while supplies last) for all participants.

Industrial Authority to meet

The Clinton County Industrial Development Authority will meet in regular session Thursday, February 13 at 11 a.m. at the IDA-Welcome Center. The meeting is open to the general public.

TLFWC hosts home school gym

Twin Lakes Family Wellness Center will be hosting a Home School Gym Mondays, at 1:30 p.m. If you have any questions please call 606-387-9622.

AA meeting 

AA will be meeting each Thursday and Saturday night at 7 p.m. in the basement of the First Christian Church. 

Wizard’s game rescheduled

The Harlem Wizards vs. Albany Shooting Stars, sponsored by Project Graduation, has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 7 p.m. at the CCHS gymnasium. Tickets may be purchased now from any high school senior.

Wellness Center holds new class

TLFWC will be holding a new class starting February 25th, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Narcotics Anonymous 

Narcotics Anonymous group meets each Monday, Tuesday and Friday nights at 7 p.m. at the Bright Idea Missionary Baptist Church basement in Albany. These meetings are open to anyone wanting to address their drug and alcohol problems.

VA Rep available 

Veterans and their families seeking benefits in south central Kentucky will now be able to find help and advice at a central location. Gary Jones, the Veterans Benefits Field Representative for Clinton and surrounding counties, will be in Glasgow at 126 E. Public Square, Lower Level, every day except for the first Tuesday, second Monday, second Tuesday, second Thursday and third Monday of each month.
