Cassie Ray Owens, 71, Byrdstown, Tennessee, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Gordon and Mable Melton Denney and was also preceded in death by two sons, Benny and Jim Phillips.

She is survived by three sons, Mark (Wendy) Phillips; Bobby Phillips, Tommy (Boop) Phillips, all of Albany; two daughters, Kathye Phillips, Albany; Patricia (Gary) Johnson, Burkesville, KY; also 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 17, 2014 at Cedar Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. David Stearns officiating. Final resting place in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Arrangements made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
