Jerry Ellis “Butter” Shelley, 38, Albany, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 at his residence as a result of throat cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Shelley.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Lynn (Dalton) Shelley; two daughters, Charla Marie Shelley and Madison Grace Aaron; a brother, Jimmy (Jewel) Shelley, all of Albany; a sister, Rhonda (Gary) Dicken, Burkesville, KY; his fiancee, Ronda Aaron, Albany; maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Dalton; also several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephew and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Shelley and Pastor Carl Cross officiating. Final resting place in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family would appreciate contributions to help with final expenses and may be left at the funeral home. Arrangements were made through Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany.
