James Michael Cooksey, 60, Hwy. 558, Albany, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was a member of Burkesville Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Cooksey, Albany; his parents, James C. and Inell Cooksey, Burkesville, KY; a daughter and son-in-law, Julia Ann and Taylor Carlisle, Hopkinsville, KY; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Brandon and Jennifer Cooksey, Columbia, KY; James Ross and Whitney Cooksey; and Nick Cooksey, all of Albany; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Janie Cooksey, Georgetown, KY; Greg and Deborah Cooksey, Edmonton, KY; also six grandchildren, Marina, J.D. and Elijah Speck, Alex Cawthorne and Clay and Andrew Cooksey.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Burkesville Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Shelton officiating. Final resting place in Burkesville Cemetery. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
