Ruel Dicken, Sr., 77, Albany, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Franklin Simpson Nursing and Rehabilitation in Franklin, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Carvin and Doshie (Claywell) Dicken.

He is survived by two sons, Junior and Steve (Bobbie) Dicken; two brothers, Harley and Ralph Dicken; four sisters, Eva Guthrie and Wanda Hurt, all of Albany; Sallie Mae Appleby, Monticello, KY; Shirley Dicken, Kokomo, IN; three grandchildren, Chris and Elijah Dicken and Egan Latham; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, February 28, 2014 at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Dicken officiating. Final resting place in Cave Springs Cemetery. Arrangements made through Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany. Online condolences may be made at www.campbell-new.com.
