Reba (Pittman) Shipley McWhorter, 97, Marion, Ohio and formerly of Albany, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Corbert and Nettie (Booher) Pittman and was preceded in death by her first husband, John Shipley, second husband, Ralph McWhorter and two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Tomy Jo (Jerry) Gilbreath, Marion, OH; two step-daughters, June (Larry) Spears, Albany and Libby Mullinix, Burkesville, KY; a brother, Morris (Carolyn) Pittman, Rogersville, TN; a sister, Monrie (Will Ed) Lowhorn, Albany; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Shipley, Celina, TN; Norma Pittman, Bowling Green, KY; also three grandchildren, one step-grandchild, 11 great-grandchildren, two step-great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Spears officiating. Final resting place in Peolia Cemetery.
