Tracy Thurman

Republican Candidate for Clinton County Jailer

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the citizens of Clinton County. I am Tracy Thurman, a Republican candidate for Clinton County Jailer.

My wife, Sue, and I were both raised in Clinton County and have lived here our entire lives. We live in the Huntersville Community and have family ties all over the county. I spent many years of my career working for a company that primarily dealt with government contracts and also worked at Equity Group for four years before starting my own business.

As a lifetime resident of Clinton County, I understand the importance of keeping the jail open and working with county officials to keep it open will be a top priority of mine. The jailer position is a very important office in our local government, and as Clinton County Jailer, I would run the facility to the best of my ability, always considering the safety of our community and the well-being of our county first. I believe in order to be a successful jailer, it is essential to be accessible and listen to constituents; to work with other officials effectively; and to always treat inmates and their families respectfully.

If you feel these qualities are what you are looking for in a jailer, then I respectfully ask for your vote and support in the May Primary Election.
