Mrs. Nora Alice (Lane) Kennedy, age 69, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away, Friday, March 14, 2014 at Pickett County Care and Rehabilitation in Byrdstown, Tennessee.

She was the daughter of the late Jim and Essie (Vaughn) Lane and was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Lane.

She is survived by her husband, Paris Hugh Kennedy of Albany, Kentucky; a daughter and son-in-law Sharon Massingill (Danny) Shearer of Richmond, Kentucky; two sisters, Francis Hogue of Barren County, Kentucky and Ruth Osborn of Danville, Illinois; a brother Jim Lane Jr. of Barren County, Kentucky; a sister-in-law, Brenda Lane of Oakwood, Illinois; a grandson Kyle Edward Massingill and his wife Brittney; a great-granddaughter Kyleigh Massingill and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, plus a host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Alice (Lane) Kennedy were held Monday, March 17, 2014, in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Shoemaker and Pastor Donnie Shelley officiating.
