Mrs. Josephine Riddle Moore, age 83, of Round Rock, Texas, formerly of Columbia, Kentucky and Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at her residence in Texas. She was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky on Friday, June 20, 1930, the daughter of Dannie Isaac and Lillie Pearl Strange Riddle. She was a homemaker, a beautician, a graduate of Martha Norris Memorial High School, Class of 1948, and a member of the First Christian Church in Columbia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Moore; her sister-in-law, Maxine Lollar Riddle; her nephew, Kenneth Stewart Riddle, Sr.; her great-niece, Saskia Riddle Nuszbaum; and her grandparents, William Ceph and Martha Wray Riddle, Isaac and Onie Fudge Strange.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William Harold and Angie Moore of Round Rock, Texas; her brother, Kenneth Isaac “K.I.” Riddle of Columbia, Kentucky; and her great-nephew, Kenneth Stewart Riddle, Jr. of Lebanon, Tennessee.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, March 17, 2014 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Rev. Terry White officiating. Burial was in the Marshall County Memory Garden Cemetery in Benton, Kentucky.
