Edna M. Ferguson Guthrie, 81, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born in Albany, Kentucky on March 1, 1933, daughter of the late Leonard and Flossie Moreland Ferguson. She was a homemaker and a member of Science Hill United Methodist Church. She was an avid UK basketball fan.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gene Guthrie; two sons, Ronnie and (Shirley) Guthrie of Eubank and Rick and (Barb) Guthrie of Somerset; one daughter, Lecia and (Terry) Ross of Eubank; grandchildren, Ryan (Brittany) Guthrie, Aaron (Chasiti) Ross, Samantha Ross (Chuck Martin), Adam Ross and Sean Ross; great-grandchildren, Rilee Ross, Knox Guthrie, Olysn Guthrie and Emma Martin and one brother, Leon and (Louise) Ferguson of Woodburn, KY.

A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Green and Bro. Paul Cropper officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
