John Lee Guthrie, 82, Dayton, Ohio and a native of Albany, passed away February 24, 2014 in Dayton. He was the son of the late Clarence E. and Mary E. (Beatty) Guthrie and was also preceded in death by a sister, Jimmie Szarka and five brothers, Elmer, Kendrick, Clyde, Ray, and Herbert Guthrie. He was a member of Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Mary J. (Crockett) Guthrie; four children, Kim (Robert) Richards; Douglas (Pam) Guthrie; Stari (Becky) and Rod Guthrie; two brothers, Hugh and Gene Guthrie; also 10 grandchildren.
