Albany Police Department has released its activity report for the month of March, 2011.
During the month, 44 citations were issued involved 28 violations.
Citations were issued for the following: disorderly conduct, five; assault-fourth degree, four; reckless driving and failure to appear, three each; failure to pay fines, expired registration plates, public intoxication, resisting arrest and driving on a suspended license, two each.
There was one citation each for the following: failure to register/transfer motor vehicle; unlawful transaction with a minor-second degree; failure to dim head lights; permitting unlawful operation of a motor vehicle; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; failure to wear seat belt; criminal trespassing; hindering prosecution/apprehension; DUI-aggravating circumstances-first degree; burglary-second degree; theft by unlawful taking; DUI on a suspended license; menacing; no insurance; DUI-first; no operator’s license; disregarding stop sign.
APD also served five warrants during the month of March.
