Multi-agency raid results in one arrest

The Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Special Investigations West Branch (DESI) served a search warrant on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at 714 Popular St. in Albany, leading to the arrest of Anthony Wilson, age 58.

According to the police report, he was charged with trafficking marijuana over eight ounces and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the KSP, seized in the raid was 243 grams of marijuana, 20 firearms, a 2005 Pontiac and $12,053.00 in U.S. currency.

The case is currently under investigation and more charges are expected to be filed at a later date.

Wilson was lodged in the Clinton County Jail. The Albany Police Department also assisted in serving the warrant.
