Coty Harris took the mound to start the game against Monroe County on Tuesday, April 5, 2011. Clinton County moves its record to 2-8 on the year and the weather has forced the Bat Dawgs to cancel games this week.

Matt Staton hit a three run shot over the left field fence Tuesday, April 5, 2011 to give the Bat Dawgs a 4-3 lead over Monroe County early in the game. Clinton County’s momentum would soon run out as Monroe took a 5-4 lead in the following inning. Clinton County lost the game, 11-8.

Left fielder Jake Woodruff made a difficult catch with the sun in his face Tuesday against Monroe County. The Bat Dawgs fought hard, but couldn’t obtain the win, losing 11-8.

Jonathan Branham made contact with a ball during the early part of Tuesday’s game against Monroe County. Clinton County took the lead, 4-3, but eventually lost the game, 11-8. The Bat Dawgs are 2-8 on the year.
