Barbara Jean Melton, 80, N Hwy. 127, Albany, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 in Campbellsville, Kentucky. She was the wife of the late William R. Melton and a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Barbara Polston of Campbellsville, KY and Vickie and Carter Crouch of Albany; two sons and daughter-in-law, Randy and Laura Melton and James Melton, all of Albany; a sister, Veta Guffey, Albany; seven grandchildren, Amanda Beck, Miranda Stockton, Heather Smith, Felicia Moreland, Brandy Carter and Codi and Amber Melton; also five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 24, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Cave Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Brown and Bro. Ronnie Bernard officiating. Final resting place in Cave Springs Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
