Lady Bat Dawgs go extra innings, lose to Pulaski

Above, Senior Taylor Delk tried to get a runner out at second Monday, but the ball didn’t reach second base in time. Pulaski County won the game in extra innings, 7-6.

Left, Makenzie Polston made contact during the first inning of Monday’s game against Pulaski County. Clinton County went into the bottom of the seventh inning tied at six, but the game took three more innings for a winner to emerge. The Lady Bat Dawgs lost the contest, 7-6.

The Lady Bat Dawgs have struggled this season so far with a record of 1-6.

Clinton County will be back in action this Friday and Saturday. The Lady Bat Dawgs will play Friday against Pulaski Southwestern and then travel to Rockcastle County on Saturday to take on Madison Southern and Rockcastle County. The first round of the All “A” Classic regional tournament will be Monday, April 7, against Glasgow.
