Sandra “Joan” Blackston, 74, Hueytown, Alabama and formerly of Albany, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim C. Blackston.

She is survived by two daughters, Laura Blackston and Robin Blackston (David) Morris; also several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 7, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home with final resting place in Big Creek Baptist Cemetery. Arangements made throught Peoples Chapel Funeral Home of Hueytown, Alabama.
