Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Dakota Melton and Cadet Major Mary Grider were voted the CCHS Bulldog Battalion Military Ball King and Queen, April 12, 2014, at the Clinton County High School JROTC Military Ball, held at Dale Hollow State Resort Park.

The Military Ball King, Dakota Melton, was crowned by Lonnie Malaefono, 2012-2013 Ball King. The Military Ball Queen, Mary Grider, was crowned by the 2012-2013 Ball Queen, Jessica Clontz. Dakota Melton is the son of John and Lisa Melton and stepson of Teresa Melton. Mary Grider is the daughter of Steven and Maricris Grider.
