CCHS students participated in the National VANS CUSTOM CULTURE competition. Students designed and customized a tennis shoe in four theme areas: Action Sport, Art, Music, and Local Flavor. The top 50 designs were selected on April 14th. If student’s designs are selected as the top 50, the design will be open for public voting in which the public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite among the submissions.

The public voting phase will be from April 25th until May 12th. The final judging will take place in June by a celebrity judge and the winners will travel to New York City and receive $50,000 for the school art program. Pictured here are the CCHS students who designed shoes for the contest.
